Department Name: Men’s Fellowship (The Joshua)

The Men’s fellowship is an integral part of the City of Zion Church . We, as a department, seek to bring men together under one unified umbrella, dedicating ourselves to raising Godly men and leaders who will, in turn, beget Godly homes and families that will, in turn, reflect positively in safe communities.
We focus on organising Spiritual, Social, and family-oriented programs, where people can find positive meaning.
Our activities and duties include:
- Scheduling quarterly Men’s breakfast meetings where we have quality time of prayers and discussions as it relates to family life, business, and Spiritual life.
- We currently hold a monthly prayer meeting every last Thursday of every month via Zoom link, where men raise their voices in prayers and thanksgiving to God.
- We also take an active role in supporting the church in its developmental projects wherever possible.
- We aim to collaborate with the women’s directorate to plan and organise an annual family and marriage weekend.
- The men’s group join millions of men all over the world to celebrate Father’s Day, the men’s department takes charge of the Sunday service on these days.
- We host an annual conference every November of every year, where we invite different professionals from all walks of life, as it relates to the development of our members.
- Recently, the men’s department has also been charged with organising and hosting the annual City of Zion’s sports day in the month of august of every year.
